About Jan Jacob

Hello and thanks for visiting! In December 2009 I picked up a camera, created my blog, and started blogging all with the hope that someone out there was watching. In essence, this blog is about me, my life and the evolution of my photography.

I created my blog as a place where I can post my work and also give you a bit of insight into who I am and what goes on in the life of an Edmonton and area photo-enthusiast (with a wife and four kids in tow).

Besides photography, I am a bit of a closet writer and this blog gives me the perfect outlet for that. If my posts seem long on occasion now you know why! Besides being long-winded, I love taking pictures of people. Making models of everyday people is what I want to accomplish every time I shoot and I think that is something anyone can have.
